I leave looking quietly expensive, always. Strangers stop me mid-stride shouting “Who does your hair?!” This morning it still looked like the final frame of a Vogue cover. Second-day hair this good should be illegal. In an industry full of noise, Hermiz delivers rare, unflinching focus - every appointment feels like the only one in his world. He doesn’t just style; he engineers confidence that lasts for days. The salon itself is peak Scandizzo perfection: warm, genuine hospitality and a seamless orchestration from welcome to wash to waves. It feels like stepping into a renovated Milano art house - luxurious, effortlessly cool, and home to Hermiz and the resident hair artists who truly are the best in the game. From my very first appointment, though, this salon completely changed that experience for me. I’ve been coming here for about six months now, and every single visit feels like walking into a little community — a place that feels welcoming, safe, and genuinely like home. The team create such a warm, inclusive atmosphere, and you can tell they truly care about their clients, not just the end result but the entire experience. The level of service is truly unmatched. From the attention to detail, to the expertise, to how listened to and understood I feel every time I sit in the chair and it’s exceptional. My hair has never looked or felt better ( and I’m a blonde so thank you, Olivia) I leave every appointment feeling confident, looked after, and honestly just so happy. This isn’t just a salon — it’s a space you look forward to being in. Experiencing a Hermiz haircut at Scandizzo is incredible. I started seeing him 3 years ago and it’s been a delight every time - laidback chats, beautiful products & professional service every time. Having had long hair my whole life, I finally listened to Hermiz and recently went for the big chop with a shoulder length bob (a style he has been suggesting for ages, but something I was always scared of!). I should’ve listened earlier as it’s a haircut that completely transformed my appearance and I LOVE it - so when he suggests a style for you, you listen! Thank you Hermiz, you’re a true artist 🙌🏼

I flew from Sydney to Melbourne just to see Hermiz. I booked him before my flight and hotel, and he did not disappoint! Hands down the best hairdresser in Melbourne. The attention to detail, the vibe, the whole experience… unmatched! Also the best blow out I’ve ever had, lasted me for ages! Can’t wait to see Hermiz and the team at Joey Scandizzo whenever I’m in town!
